Reference linkage in OpenAlex runs near 95% for STEM but around 70% for arts and humanities, where monographs and non-English venues carry much of the scholarship. Every co-occurrence and citation measure in this project is correspondingly weaker there, and a computed gap in the humanities means less than the same number in molecular biology.
